Ashlie Depinet is an associate in our Real Estate Practice Group, focusing on real estate tax credit finance and community development. Her work includes representing investors, developers, funds and financial institutions in the acquisition, development, financing, sale and disposition of developed and undeveloped real estate.
Prior to returning to the firm, she gained valuable tax credit experience as assistant chief legal counsel at the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, where she represented the state agency as lender to tax credit financed projects, as well as assisting in policy and rule drafting, including assistance in program development of the newly created Ohio affordable housing tax credit.
Ashlie began her legal career as a law clerk in the Southern District of Ohio, to the Honorable Elizabeth A. Preston Deavers, and the Honorable Anthony P. Patti in the Eastern District of Michigan, where she cultivated her civil litigation and research skills.
Ashlie earned her J.D. from the Capital University Law School graduating summa cum laude in 2012, and her B.A. from the Ohio State University in 2005.
