With more than 25 years of international experience, Begonia helps organisations navigate the intersection of regulation, business strategy and stakeholder expectations. Her work spans sustainability governance, environmental, social and governance (ESG), supply chain due diligence, circular economy initiatives, environmental liabilities, responsible sourcing, waste and resource management, green claims and climate-related risk.

A dual-qualified solicitor in England and Wales and Spanish abogada, Begonia is particularly recognised for helping clients understand the practical implications of evolving UK and EU sustainability legislation. She works closely with general counsel, chief sustainability officers and senior executives to develop commercially viable approaches to compliance, risk management and organisational resilience.

Before returning to private practice, Begonia advised global businesses on major Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and supply chain due diligence projects and has worked extensively with governments, regulators and international organisations, including the UN. Her combination of legal, policy and commercial experience enable her to provide clear, pragmatic advice on issues that often sit at the heart of corporate decision-making.
