About Eleanor

Eleanor Dodsworth is an associate in our Labour & Employment Practice Group and is based in our Leeds office. She advises on all areas of contentious and noncontentious employment law, advising national and international clients in a variety of sectors.

Eleanor provides commercial and client focused advice to support her clients to achieve their desired outcome while considering legal risk, advising on a variety of matters, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and capability matters. Eleanor is also an experienced litigator defending complex employment tribunal claims.

Experience

  • Advising on matters at the Employment Tribunal, defending a variety multi-day claims for large employers including:

    • Complex multi-day and multi-party discrimination/whistleblowing claims

    • Constructive unfair dismissal claims

    • Private sector equal pay claims

  • Advising on large scale restructure projects, supporting project design and consultation processes.

  • Designing and delivering bespoke in-house training to clients and speaking at client workshops.

  • Drafting and negotiating service agreements, consultancy agreements and other contractual documents.

  • Advising companies and individuals on agreed exits, including negotiating settlement agreements.
