Evan Ernst is an associate in our global Corporate Practice Group, where he represents clients in a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, capital markets transactions and corporate governance. He also advises family offices on a variety of investment and governance matters.
Before joining the firm, Evan gained experience across a variety of business sectors, including insurance, banking and asset management. He holds a Master of Business Administration and competed as a collegiate student-athlete.
During law school, Evan gained practical experience through an externship with a Fortune 500 apparel retailer and through his work in the Entrepreneurial Business Law Clinic, where he assisted startups and nonprofit organizations with legal matters. He also served as an executive managing editor of The Ohio State Law Journal and received a CALI Award for Excellence in Transactional Practice.
