Sonal D. Imbulamure is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group, representing clients across the automotive industry in disputes involving products liability, primarily in statutory consumer warranty litigation defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Sonal handled all aspects of litigation for high-net-worth private clients and business owners in complex breach of contract, trust and probate, and real estate disputes in state courts throughout Southern California. That work included challenging initial pleadings, handling pretrial and postjudgment motions, and first-chairing trials. Having taken cases to verdict as lead counsel, Sonal brings a trial lawyer’s view to case resolution.
Sonal also has an international background. Sonal was born in the UK and earned law degrees in both the UK and US systems. He is also admitted as a lawyer in Sri Lanka. This helps in working with globally headquartered clients and their US subsidiaries, which often must coordinate litigation strategy across jurisdictions and with corporate legal teams abroad.
