Personal Data We Collect: When you use certain features of the App, such as “Contact Us” or “Request Hard Copy”, we collect your email address or a postal address which may include your name, company name, and/or job title/position in your company. We also generate a unique user ID (“UUID”) in our database to associate your account with your device. We do not store any information about your device, such as mobile number.
Why We Collect It and Lawful Basis: We collect personal data about you to respond to requests you make to us via the App. We rely on our legitimate interests to fulfil these requests. We generate the UUID for our legitimate interest to manage your account and deliver the requested notifications to your device.
Who We Share It With: When you provide an email or postal address to request information from us, the Squire Patton Boggs personnel responsible for fulfilling such requests will have access to your personal data.
We do not share your personal data with any third parties. We will never sell personal data collected via the App nor knowingly permit it to be used for marketing purposes.
Location of the Processing: The App is hosted on servers located in the United States, and the SPB personnel who manage the App are also located in the United States. If you are located outside the United States and provide us with personal data in the App, you should be aware that privacy laws in the United States may provide a different level of protection compared to those in your country.
Retention Policy: If you provide personal data via the App, we retain it as long as necessary to respond to your request. Once your request has been fulfilled, the personal data is deleted unless we are required to retain it, for example, to meet a legal obligation (for example, accounting or tax regulations) or to establish, exercise or defend potential legal claims.

Definitions
"AntitrustOnTap App" means the application provided by Squire Patton Boggs (“SPB”) to deliver short informational messages regarding developments in antitrust and competition law.
"Controller" or “data controller” means an individual or entity who or which, alone or jointly, determines the purposes and means of processing of personal data.
"Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (a "data subject"). An identifiable individual is one whose identity can be established by one or more identifiers (for example, their name) specific to that individual.
"Processing" means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
"Processor" means an individual or entity who or which processes personal data on behalf of a controller.
