John Bunch leverages his prior experience serving as Associate General Counsel at a leading non-profit managed healthcare organization to counsel health insurance companies, hospital systems, physician groups and other clients on a broad range of issues.

John’s corporate practice includes advising public and private clients on M&A and capital markets transactions. In addition, John’s healthcare practice focuses on regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters in healthcare involving Health Maintenance Organizations, hospitals, Medicare, Medicaid, and the Health Insurance Marketplace. Specifically, John’s in-house experience includes acting as legal counsel for the development and implementation of the HMO’s first Medicare Advantage Plan and Health Insurance Marketplace Product filings in new states. John is skilled at drafting and negotiating complex agreements with hospitals, HMOs, physician groups, and HIPAA Business Associate agreements.

In addition to his corporate and healthcare work, John has been involved in a wide range of matters involving hospital reimbursement litigation, RFP bid litigation and fraud and abuse investigations.

John is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Dayton Bar Association.
