Christina Economides is an advisor in the firm’s European Public Policy Practice in Brussels, where she supports clients on EU policy and regulatory matters on a range of sectors, including on supply chain and broader responsible business conduct.

Christina supports clients on technology (including Artificial Intelligence), taxation, trade and geopolitics, healthcare and wider environment, social and governance (ESG) regulatory and policy matters at the EU level. She primarily advises clients in these fields on the possible impact EU policies could entail for their business and devises tailored advocacy strategies to mitigate them.

Prior to joining the firm, Christina worked for a Brussels-based EU public affairs consultancy, focused on financial services, ICT/data protection and competition matters, and was inter alia running the Secretariat of the European Payment Institutions Federation (EPIF). Christina was also the account manager for several clients in the financial services sector and provided intelligence and strategic support on EU regulatory and policy issues to clients.

Previously, Christina was a policy officer in the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and, prior to that, assisting a MEP’s office in the European Parliament.

  • Providing strategic advice to clients in these sectors to perceive the complexities of the EU legislative process and engage accordingly with EU policymakers.
  • Being the account manager and supporting leading European, American, Asian and Latin American companies in their public affairs and advocacy efforts vis-à-vis the EU institutions, EU agencies and national governments.
  • Coordinating policy projects for clients in the technology, digital economy, environment and healthcare sectors on an ad hoc basis.
  • Monitoring the legislative developments at the EU level in the technology (including Artificial Intelligence), sustainability (including ESG), financial services, transport and healthcare sectors, as well as on taxation, trade and geopolitical matters.
  • Providing analysis to clients on EU policy initiatives in the technology, sustainability, taxation and healthcare sectors, accompanied by an impact assessment for business and possible mitigation strategies.
