The European Commission published on 8 July 2025 a Chemicals Package. The package is issued following a period of intense regulatory activity marked by the 2020 Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability. It reveals a change of approach, oriented towards the reinforcement of the industry’s competitiveness. Under the framework of the European Chemicals Industry Action Plan it introduces and announces a series of legislative proposal.
