Financial News has named the firm’s Global Head of Financial Services Regulation Monica Gogna in its Fifty Most Influential Lawyers for 2025, a list of the top legal professionals working in Europe.
Financial News commends Ms. Gogna as “A key influencer, active in shaping regulatory policy,” highlighting her work with UK Finance to set out a roadmap for the launch of a UK digital gilt that led to the pilot ‘Digit’ issuance being run jointly by the Treasury and the UK Debt Management Office. Ms. Gogna’s involvement in the launch of Europe’s first crypto-backed exchange traded product was also noted, alongside her work with the Investment Management Association and the Investment Company Institute on the impact of MiFID II’s broker-dealer commission rules.
