The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) has named Squire Patton Boggs Senior Associate Maura P. McIntyre to its prestigious annual “40 Under 40” list, which recognizes emerging leaders under the age of 40 for their outstanding contributions, leadership, and achievements in the bankruptcy and insolvency community. Honorees were selected by a panel of experienced insolvency professionals.
Ms. McIntyre focuses her practice on financial restructuring, corporate trust matters, and workout proceedings, representing financially distressed companies and their creditors. Her experience includes advising debtors, indenture trustees, creditors and creditors’ committees, investors, and purchasers in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings. Her insolvency and restructuring work is complemented by deep expertise in trust indenture matters, including representing indenture trustees in Chapter 11 cases, negotiating with ad hoc bondholder groups, and advising indenture trustees in connection with defaulted securities.
ABI will honor recipients during an awards luncheon at its Winter Leadership Conference, to be held on December 5 at the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa.
