Amy Derbyshire is an associate in our Labour & Employment team, based in our Manchester office.

Amy advises multinational and FTSE 100 companies, delivering clear, practical and commercially focused legal guidance across both contentious and noncontentious employment matters. She has experience in all aspects of employment tribunal litigation and works closely with our Corporate team to provide seamless support on transactional and strategic employment issues.

Experience

  • Provides regular advice to clients on a wide range of day-to-day HR and employment law issues, including conduct, capability, grievance, redundancy and long-term sickness.
  • Supports businesses in defending complex, high-value employment tribunal claims involving discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal.
  • Drafts and negotiates a wide range of employment documentation, such as contracts of employment, service agreements, consultancy agreements and workplace policies.
  • Assists with large-scale projects and sensitive internal investigations, offering strategic and discreet legal support.
