Rebecca Dücker is a member of our International Dispute Resolution Practice based in Frankfurt. Her practice focuses on national and international dispute resolution. Within this practice, she specialises in the fields of intellectual property (IP), competition law, food law, distribution and regulation.

She advises national and international clients on trademark, design and copyright matters, competition law issues and handles the branding, labelling, market approval and distribution, as well as any litigation related to such matters. Furthermore, she advises clients on their global anti-counterfeiting programs and represents them as injured parties in criminal or custom seizure proceedings.

She completed her legal clerkship in Frankfurt and New York City, where she worked for an international law firm, as well as in the IP department of one of the world-leading colour cosmetics brands.

  • Coordination and management of a global anti-counterfeiting programme, including criminal and custom seizure proceedings for one of the world's leading producers of cosmetic products.
  • Advising a German agency of record for a car manufacturer on advertising law, in particular in the area of automobile advertising in accordance with the regulation on energy consumption labelling (“PKW-EnVKV”) and general principles of competition law.
  • Advising multiple leading spirits companies on branding issues, product labeling, distribution, packaging and food regulatory requirements.
  • Advising various clients from the food industry on trademark applications including the handling of opposition and cancellation proceedings before the German and the European trademark offices.
  • Representing a world-leading producer of electronic vehicles in several trademark cancellation proceedings before the European trademark office, as well as before the District Court in Munich and the Higher Regional Court in Munich.
  • Advising on various aspects of procedural and substantive law in a €2 billion cartel damages litigation case for a major airline.
  • Conducting multiple arbitrations for a bank to resolve domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute Resolution Policy.
