Dr. Christofer Eggers’ practice blends litigation, competition, regulatory and intellectual property law and has a specific focus on branded consumer goods.

He has extensive experience handling matters pertaining to a vast variety of consumer goods, ranging from food to cosmetics and from medical devices to household appliances. He handles the branding, labelling, market approval and distribution, as well as any litigation related to such matters.

In particular, Christofer is regarded as one of the leading German lawyers in the food sector, and has represented clients before the German Federal Antitrust Authority and the European Commission, as well as in the European Court of Justice, the German Federal Supreme Courts and many district courts.

Christofer is a member of the German Lawyers’ Association, German Association for Intellectual Property and Copyright Law, Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht (Antitrust Law Society in Germany), Scientific Association for the Exploration of Food Law, European Food Law Association and German Institute for the Protection of Designations of Origin. He is also a member of the legal committee of the German Federation of Food Law and Food Science.
