Dr. Alexander Imberg is licensed to practice in both the US (California) and Germany. He is a native German and has been practicing in the US since 1996. Prior to this, Alexander practiced in Germany where he represented clients in general civil and commercial litigation matters. Alexander’s successful litigation representation in the US and abroad is centered on the automotive, technology and energy industries. He has focused his practice on complex, commercial, products liability and intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on the defense of German and other European manufacturers in US courts.

    Litigation

    Alexander represents clients in state and federal courts throughout the US (most recently California, New York, Nevada, Louisiana, Florida, Texas and Missouri), predominantly in complex and high-stakes litigation. He has tried major US cases to verdict and, where appropriate, resolved matters through the means of alternative dispute resolution.

    Litigation Coordination/Risk Management

    Alexander serves as national coordinating counsel for numerous companies, including one of Germany's premier auto manufacturers and a leading German plumbing system manufacturer. He counsels clients in the area of product safety, preventive product liability and risk management.

    Corporate Transactions

    In the area of corporate and commercial law, Alexander represents European companies in establishing subsidiaries and conducting business operations in the US. He also assists his clients in complex commercial transactions and contract negotiations.
