Marc Kenny is a partner in the Corporate Practice and leads the firm’s corporate team in Los Angeles. A seasoned transactional lawyer, Marc advises clients on complex domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private securities offerings and other high-stakes strategic transactions. His clients include private equity funds, independent sponsors, family offices and public and private companies across a broad range of industries.

Marc’s diverse industry experience spans technology, digital media, communications, entertainment, healthcare, food and beverage and energy. Over the course of his career, he has practiced in Los Angeles, Silicon Valley and London, representing clients such as Platinum Equity, DIRECTV, MGM Studios, Credit Karma, Ocorian, Tactyc, Olo, MirrorWeb, The Timex Group, TRIAD Capital Management, THG Securities Advisors, The Holdsworth Group and Flaherty & Crumrine.

Before joining the firm, Marc held senior roles at prominent national and international law firms in both the US and London, and he served as senior in-house counsel at DreamWorks Animation SKG. His diverse work experience allows him to advise clients on their transactions with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach by anticipating the needs of legal and business teams alike. His approach to counseling makes him a trusted advisor not only on transactions, but also on risk management and long-term business and legal strategy.

Marc was named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Top 100 Lawyers” list in 2023 and has been recognized by his peers in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for Mergers & Acquisitions. He serves as the deputy practice group leader for the firm’s Corporate Practice in California and is a member of the firm’s Lawyer Personnel Committee.

  • Advising Platinum Equity on various of its acquisitions, dispositions and add-on transactions in the transportation, logistics, manufacturing, technology and communications industries.
  • Advising Ocorian, a portfolio company of Inflexion, in its acquisition of US-based fund administrator EdgePoint Fund Services.
  • Advising Tactyc on its early-stage financings and subsequent sale to Carta.
  • Advising MirrorWeb, a portfolio company of Maven Capital, on its sale to Mainsail Partners.
  • Advising MGM Studios on its investment in Audio Up.
  • Advising Centricus on several US minority equity financings in the food tech industry.
  • Advising the executive management team of VXI Global in the sale of the company to funds affiliated with Bain Capital.
  • Advising VXI Global in multiple US acquisitions.
  • Advising Aegida Investments in its Series C investment in Axiom Space.
  • Advising the Timex Group in its equity investment in JAXXON with Digital Fuel Capital.
  • Advising DIRECTV in various acquisitions and strategic equity investments in the US and Europe.
  • Advising Central Valley Meat Company is its acquisition of Harris Ranch Beef Company, one of the largest integrated beef processing and marketing businesses in California.
  • Advising AllTrails in its recapitalization and majority sale to Spectrum Equity.
