Fëllënza Limani's practice focuses on international dispute resolution, including commercial and investor-state arbitration.

Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Fëllënza served as a Humphrey fellow with the American University Washington College of Law, where her research and professional affiliation focused on international arbitration. Fëllënza worked as a legal advisor to Kosovo’s Office of the State Attorney, representing the Republic of Kosovo in a number of investor-state arbitrations. Fëllënza has over 10 years of legal experience, having previously been involved in the process of liquidation of socially owned enterprises with the Privatization Agency of Kosovo and public-private partnerships at the Ministry of Finance.

  • Advising Kosovo in a pending investment arbitration against a Croatian-Kosovar double national regarding a dispute over the assets and concessions of a privatized company.
  • Advising Kosovo in a pending investment arbitration against an Estonian company regarding cancellation of a banking license.
  • Advising Kosovo in a pending investment arbitration regarding a dispute over investment in a telecom company.
  • Advised Kosovo in an investment arbitration against a Swiss company regarding the privatization and ownership of a hotel.

International Commercial Arbitrations

  • Advising the contractor in an arbitration regarding a complex project for building a power plant.
  • Advised a client in an UNCITRAL arbitration related to obligations under a share purchase agreement. The client prevailed in the dispute.
  • Advised a public energy company regarding alleged breaches of a services agreement. The case settled favorably for the client.
