Holly Moore is an associate in the Real Estate Litigation team and is based in the Manchester office.

She has experience in a variety of real estate litigation matters, including lease renewals, breach of covenant issues, lease break options, rent arrears, forfeiture, dilapidations and enforcement of easements. Holly has advised a variety of tenant, landlord and landowner clients in different industries on such matters.

Holly has particular expertise assisting developers on issues arising on development sites. This includes advising on agricultural issues in order to obtain vacant possession of sites. Similarly, Holly has assisted developers to ascertain the extent of rights to light on development sites, including preparing strategies to minimise potential liability and advising on the steps required in order to progress with developments in the face of any rights to light issues.

Holly is also a member of the Junior Property Litigation Association.

  • Property portfolio management, particularly in respect of portfolios for retailers.
  • Acting as part of a national team on injunctive proceedings with a focus on title reviews to determine the relevant proprietary interests and the extent of the injunction sought.
  • Advising on rights of light issues for councils and private companies.
  • Advising both landlord and tenant clients on dilapidations at lease end.
  • Delivering strategic advice in respect of breach of covenant issues and experience with applications to the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) to modify restrictive covenants to prevent future breaches.
  • Advising both tenants and landlords on options in the face of rent arrears and other lease breaches, including forfeiture and applications for relief from forfeiture.
  • Assisting clients with access and trespass issues and the options available where a boundary is in dispute.
