Holly Rowbottom is an associate in the Real Estate Litigation team and is based in the Manchester office. Holly qualified in September 2020 after she completed her training contract with the firm.

Holly has experience in a variety of real estate litigation matters, including lease renewals, breach of covenant issues, lease break options, rent arrears and residential tenancy disputes. Holly has advised a variety of tenant and landlord clients in different industries on such matters.

She also has particular expertise in advising clients, such as developers, on dealing with agricultural tenancies and telecoms experience such as preparing and serving code notices and negotiating telecoms code leases.

  • Property portfolio management, particularly in respect of portfolios for food and grocery retailers.
  • Delivering strategic advice to tenants in respect of breach of covenant issues and experience with applications to the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) to modify restrictive covenants to prevent future breaches.
  • Debt recovery action in respect of rent arrears.
  • Assisting clients with access and trespass issues and the options available where a boundary is in dispute.
