Lisa Shannon is a director in our Dublin office and has management responsibility for the Labour & Employment Practice Group in Ireland. She previously served as a senior employment lawyer in a top tier domestic Irish firm, specialising in employment advice for regulated financial services providers. Her work involves acting for a wide range of domestic and international companies with respect to workplace disputes, disciplinary matters, day-to-day compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.

  • Advising the board of a plc on the running of an investigation into allegations of wrongdoing against its CEO.
  • Advising on a no-fault termination and associated severance agreement of the CEO of a plc, valued in excess of €1 million.
  • Advising a client regarding an injunction issued against them in the High Court by a former member of the senior management team.
  • Conducting employment due diligence on a range of cross-border corporate transactions.
  • Advising and representing multiple clients in the Workplace Relations Commission and the High Court.
  • Advising in relation to a reorganisation and associated setting up of a services company and TUPE transfer.
  • Advising clients on redundancies/terminations of individuals holding roles regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
