Squire Patton Boggs announced that Keith Shumate has been appointed Managing Partner of the firm's Columbus office and Kendra Sherman has been named leader of the firm's global Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Practice. Shumate succeeds Traci Martinez who led the office since 2020 and was recently appointed as the firm's Global Managing Partner.

In their new leadership capacities Shumate and Sherman will work closely with colleagues across practices and geographies to support evolving client needs, develop talent and advance the firm's strategic priorities. In addition to her role as practice leadership responsibilities, Sherman also serves as the firm's US National Hiring Chair, overseeing associate recruitment and development firmwide.
