Squire Patton Boggs has hired leading corporate lawyer Philip Lee as a partner in its global Corporate Practice Group in Singapore. Mr. Lee was previously Asia regional head of DLA Piper’s Financial Services sector, head of Capital Markets Asia Pacific and regional lead for the Indian Practice. He joins with a team of three lawyers: of counsel Andhari Sidharta, senior associate Le Jing Ong, and associate Suneha Kasal.

An English, New York and Australian qualified corporate partner, Mr. Lee has over 20 years’ experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets (debt and equity), complex restructuring, structured financing, venture capital and private equity. He focuses on financial services, sustainability and ESG, projects, with expertise in the energy and resources (traditional and renewables), consumer and healthcare, technology (including fintech and biotech), media and telecommunication, real estate, infrastructure and construction industries. He also has particular expertise leading market access teams in obtaining licensing, landing rights and spectrum rights for telecommunication, satellite, broadband and ESIM services in markets throughout the Asia Pacific and South Asia regions.
