Lauren Trialonas focuses her practice on public finance including state and local government law and school law.
Lauren has served as bond counsel, borrower’s counsel and underwriter's counsel with respect to taxable and tax-exempt bond financings and refinancings.
Lauren’s experience includes numerous bond financings and refinancings for the benefit of private and public colleges and universities, as well as for multifacility hospital systems and community hospitals.
In her capacity as bond counsel, borrower’s counsel and underwriter's counsel, Lauren also has experience with current and advance refundings, master trust indentures, variable and multimodal interest rate structures, certificates of participation, remarketings, credit and liquidity facility substitutions and disclosure.
Serving as bond counsel on general obligation financings for municipalities and school districts in the State of New York.
Serving as bond counsel to the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York for various private and state-supported financings.
Serving as bond counsel to the State of Connecticut in connection with its general obligation bond program.
Serving as bond counsel to the Ohio Higher Educational Facility Commission including financings for several Ohio hospital systems.
Serving as bond counsel in connection with US$390 million bonds issued by the Florida Development Finance Corporation for the benefit of Tampa General Hospital.
Serving as bond counsel to Sarasota Memorial Health System (Sarasota County Public Hospital District) in connection with the issuance of US$159.075 million in publicly offered bonds, as well as US$205 million in directly placed bonds, issued in March 2026.
Serving as bond counsel for Lee Health System, Inc. on US$441 million in bonds issued by the Lee County Industrial Development Authority to refinance prior debt and fund the construction of a new replacement campus for Lee Health in Fort Myers, Florida.
Serving as co-bond counsel to the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation.
Serving as co-bond counsel to the New York Transportation Development Corporation in connection with its US$4.2 billion bond and commercial financing of JFK Airport Terminal 6 in 2022, and the nearly US$2 billion refinancing of the JFK Terminal 6 project through tax-exempt bonds in 2024.
Serving as underwriters’ counsel for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Transportation Revenue Bonds.
Serving as underwriters’ counsel on various Connecticut Health & Educational Facilities Authority financings.
Serving as borrower counsel to St. Francis College in connection with the issuance of US$17,540,000 Build NYC Revenue Bonds (St. Francis College Project), Series 2020A, (ii) US$24,515,000 Revenue Bonds (St. Francis College Project), Series 2020B (Taxable), (iii) US$24,215,000 Revenue Bonds (St. Francis College Project), Series 2020C (Taxable), (iv) US$45 million Revenue Bonds (St. Francis College Project), Series 2021 and (v) not to exceed US$33,745,000 Public Finance Authority Taxable Revenue Bonds St. Francis College Issue, Series 2020.
