Leading Florida legal publication Daily Business Review has selected Squire Patton Boggs Miami office managing partner Andrew Kruppa among its 2020 Florida Trailblazers. The annual list spotlights individuals who have made significant marks on the practice, policy and technological advancement of their practice.
Mr. Kruppa is also the Chair of the Litigation Practice Group in Miami, and focuses his practice on defending claims against manufacturers of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, in addition to maintaining an active practice in international and commercial litigation involving a variety of industries. Mr. Kruppa has represented clients at trials in Florida, Indiana, New York, Ohio and South Carolina.
Mr. Kruppa specifically was recognized for leading firm teams in two high-profile matters involving a headline-grabbing pelvic mesh product liability trial and Florida International University’s 2018 tragic pedestrian bridge collapse. With the odds stacked against both clients, Mr. Kruppa’s innovative strategies led to wins for his clients in 2019-20.
