Squire Patton Boggs has won Legal Technology Team of the Year at the Legal Business Awards for its employment law resource Global Edge, and a complementary suite of tools designed to give clients access to business critical information.
The Legal Business Awards, which were held last night at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London, recognise outstanding work from across the profession and acknowledge the accomplishments of the finest lawyers currently working in the UK and beyond.
The award for Legal Technology Team of the Year recognises law firms, in-house teams and chambers that have pushed through innovation and secured competitive advantage for their business. Important factors included fresh approaches in creating and delivering legal products, including utilising technology and new business models.
The judging panel comprised prominent general counsel, including Chris Fowler, GC Technology, BT; Nayeem Syed, Senior Legal Director – Technology Procurement, London Stock Exchange Group; and Kate Cheetham, Group GC and CoSec, Lloyds Banking Group.
