On 15 May, the Supreme Court handed down a judgment overturning the judgment of the Court of Appeal in the case of Mur Shipping BV v. RTI Ltd, which concerned the interpretation of a force majeure clause in a maritime contract of carriage between Mur Shipping (the Shipowner) and RTI Ltd (the Charterer).
