Tom McClusky is an associate in the global Corporate Practice and is based in the Manchester office.

Tom advises on all aspects of corporate finance work on a national and international basis and, in particular, specialises in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations, takeovers, corporate governance matters and private equity.

Experience

  • Acting for CSL Group on the acquisition of IoTM Solutions Ltd to further strengthen CSL’s offering to build resilient global Internet of Things (IoT) estates.

  • Acting for AccessPay on the strategic majority investment from Accel-KKR.

  • Acted alongside a multidisciplinary team on behalf of Vital Energi, a leading provider of energy infrastructure solutions, on a £175 million fundraising through a Nordic bond issue and the acquisition of the Port Clarence biomass facility in Teesside.

  • Advised Aptamer Group plc, the developer of novel Optimer binders to enable innovation in the life sciences industry, on its £80.7 million Alternative Investment Market (AIM) initial public offering (IPO).

  • Advised Sopheon PLC on the takeover by Wellspring Worldwide for £115 million (US$140 million).

  • Acting for a Premier League football club on its global reorganisation and restructure.
