Squire Patton Boggs is a finalist for the ‘Outstanding Corporate Culture’ award and for ‘Private Client Team of the Year’ at the British Legal Awards. The Awards stand as the benchmark for excellence in the UK legal sector, and honour the standout achievements of law firms, in-house teams, chambers, and individuals.
As a finalist for Outstanding Corporate Culture, the firm is recognised for its investment in training and development and how it has reengineered a global associate development programme for each stage of a lawyer’s career, with a strategy that includes targeted core development programmes for each level of associate, alongside flexible and family-friendly policies to enable its teams to perform at their best.
The firm is also a finalist for Private Client Team of the Year for acting for the successful claimants in the widely reported “moth case”, in which the High Court granted rescission of the £32.5 million purchase of Notting Hill mansion Horbury Villa and over £8 million in damages and legal costs. The team was led by partners Chris Webber and Julian Ciecierski-Burns and director Tim Flamank, with support from associates Sara Love, Lewis Raynor, and Abigail Kennedy.
The winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony in London on November 26.
